Pain is considered to be one of the most frequent symptoms, but which the most frequent on the 21st century. With longer life expectancy the wear on a bone level will cause pain, immobility, sensation of lack of strength and loss of autonomy.<\/p>\n

More than 90% of the population has had back pain at some time in their life. Normally it is resolved with relative rest, drugs and time. Preventing back pain requires good lifestyle habits, lack of overweight and exercise.<\/p>\n

On occasions in spite of following all this advice and in spite of using medication, the pain does not remit and affects our quality of life. These cases require assessment by an expert spinal neurosurgeon to diagnose the reason for this pain. In the majority of the cases it is possible to suggest different techniques, both non-invasive and invasive, to reduce the pain or make it disappear and so improve the quality of life.<\/p>\n
