Syringomyelia is a disorder that occurs when there is an accumulation of liquid, normally in the form of a cyst, in the central part of the spinal cord. With the passing of time this cyst puts pressure on the spinal cord producing different neurological disorders: pain, weakness in arms and legs, insensitivity in parts of the body.\"Siringomielia\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Diagnostic testing must be performed to determine why this liquid has accumulated and reject other associated pathologies such as Arnold-Chiari Malformation<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n
