In general these disorders favour the appearance of neurological and skin tumours.<\/p>\n<p>Different types of phakomatosis:<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-10880\" title=\"Facomatosis\" src=\"http:\/\/www.neurocirugiabarcelona.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Facomatosis-253x300.jpg\" alt=\"Facomatosis\" width=\"300\" height=\"356\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.neurocirugiabarcelona.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Facomatosis-253x300.jpg 253w, https:\/\/www.neurocirugiabarcelona.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Facomatosis.jpg 270w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Neurofibromatosis Type I:<\/strong> characterised by the appearance of a \u201cwhitish\u201d skin spot, affectation of the central nervous system (optic nerve gliomas are typical), appearance of neurofibromas and Lisch nodules.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Neurofibromatosis Type II:<\/strong> also called central neurofibromatosis as tumours are predominant in the central nervous system: bilateral acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, gliomas, etc.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sturge-Weber Syndrome:<\/strong> associated with angiomas in different locations, cerebral calcification causing epileptic seizure, neurological disorders (learning problems, etc.) and glaucoma.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Von Hippel-Lindau Syndrome<\/strong>: causing anomalous growth of retina and cerebellar vessels and a susceptibility to kidney tumours.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuberous sclerosis:<\/strong> produce the formation of tumours in the central nervous system, retina, skin, lungs, kidneys and heart.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Treatment<\/h3>\n<p>As shown in the introduction this group of disorders cause susceptibility to different tumours throughout life.
